Extremely Drunk, High;
Used in UK street and grime slang to mean extremely drunk, waved, high, or otherwise “finished,” especially after heavy drinking or smoking. It can also be used to describe someone who’s exhausted or worn out (“man’s burst after that shift”). A separate sense, influenced by US rap and drill, means to fire a gun (“burst the ting”), but this is less common in grime’s core vocabulary.
